Schumacher, Force, Anderson favored to win NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

            NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series drivers Tony Schumacher (Top Fuel Dragster), John Force (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) have been tapped as favorites to win this weekend's NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway by Station Casinos oddsmaker Michah Roberts.

            Larry Dixon, who won the Top Fuel Dragster finale during the spring NHRA SummitRacing.com Nationals, is second behind Schumacher at 2/1.  Rod Fuller -- the Las Vegas resident who already has one win to his credit this year -- drives the Valvoline-sponsored Top Fuel Dragster and is set at 10/1.

            Tickets for the Oct. 20-23 NHRA ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals are available at the LVMS ticket office, by calling (702) 644-4444 or online at www.LVMS.com.

            The NHRA weekend will kick off Wednesday night with the second annual Speedway Children's Charities Texas Hold 'em Poke Tournament at the Cannery Hotel & Casino at 7 p.m. Buy-ins still are available and many NHRA drivers - including Brandon Bernstein, Rod Fuller and David Grubnic -- are scheduled to participate.
