"Project Mayhem made their live event debut at The Strip two years ago, and since that time, have toured the country performing at a variety of motorsports venues," said Chris Blair, LVMS senior director of drag racing operations. "It has been nearly a year since Project Mayhem pulled out all the stops in front of their hometown crowd, so we expect lots of wheelies, smoke, blown tires and destroyed bikes for this performance."
Project Mayhem recently released their second full-length feature DVD (Project Mayhem:
"We participated in last year's Sport Compact Nationals and the crowd response was absolutely incredible," said Project Mayhem coordinator John Busbee. "Our guys are excited about this event and have been coming up with new material to drive the crowd wild. The wilder they get, the crazier we get -- you never know what might happen."
The event also will feature hourly performances on Saturday evening by the Hell-on-Wheels BMX Team. Hell on Wheels will performance in a special area in the middle of the NHRA Stylefest arena where they will perform bicycle acrobatics and a wide variety of stunts.
